Alicia Silverstone welcomes baby boy, names him Bear Blu

Alicia Silverstone received the ultimate early Mother's Day gift: a baby boy! Like Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon before them, she and hubby Christopher Jarecki went the nontraditional route, naming their little guy Bear Blu.

(Sounds like the perfect playmate for Roc and Roe, right?)

The "Clueless" actress, 34, welcomed the 7 pound, 15 ounce bundle of joy Thursday at a Los Angeles-area birthing center.

"We are all three in love," Silverstone wrote on her blog. "I'm so grateful to this community for all the love, support, good wishes and happy vibes you've sent me during my pregnancy ... it has been wonderful. Thank you all!"

Just last year, Silverstone, who wed S.T.U.N. frontman Jarecki in 2005, was gushing about how much she wanted a baby during her Broadway run as an expectant mother in "Time Stands Still."

"I've been wanting to have a baby since I was 2 years old –- I'm destined to be a mother," the vocal vegan and author of "The Kind Diet"  told People. "I can't wait to be pregnant."

Mission accomplished.

Christopher is Alicia's husband's name. She posted the baby's name on her own website. "Bear Blu Jarecki" it is.

You can't even compare the three names Moroccan and Monroe are normal compared to Bear Blu. Who names their kid after a animal and a Bear?! Also who names thier kid after a color? That name is so crazy that is no where near normal. Bear Blu are you serious, I feel sorry for that Bear I mean Kid.
