Nicolas Cage was arrested in New Orleans early Saturday morning and faces charges of domestic abuse and disturbing the peace, TMZ reported.

Apparently trouble started when a cab driver spotted the ‘Drive Angry 3D’ star arguing very loudly with his wife, Alice. The cabbie claimed the couple were screaming at each other and that Cage grabbed his wife. That’s when he called the police.

TMZ reported that officers tried to break up the fight, urging the couple to go home, but Cage was ‘very drunk’ and allegedly asked them, ‘Why don’t you just arrest me?’ After a few more dares, police took him in.

According to TMZ, Nic was later released after posting $11,000 bail.
