LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian marry in a surprise ceremony
"Eddie and I are overwhelmed by the amount of lovely well wishes. We are blessed and ... I'm Mrs. Cibrian!!!!! So wonderful to wake up as husband and wife. Love to all of you," she tweeted on Saturday.
The couple pulled a fast one on friends and family, inviting them to an engagement party that turned out to be a surprise wedding, reports People.
Rimes and Cibrian exchanged personalized vows in an intimate ceremony at a private residence in California. About 40 guests, including Cibrian's sons Mason, 7, and Jake, 4, from his previous marriage to Brandi Glanville, watched as the "Crazy Women" singer walked down the aisle in a Reem Acra gown.
The relationship started with a bit of a scandal, when the country starlet, who is set to release her new cover album, “Lady and Gentleman,” this year, and the actor met on the set of the Lifetime movie "Northern Lights." The rumored romance caused a media blitz, as both were married at the time. Eventually, the buzz died down, and the two became engaged in December 2010.
Rimes also updated her Twitter bio, adding "WIFE, bonus mom" to her self-description.
