LeAnn Rimes cleans out closet, donates shoes to a mom in need
LeAnn Rimes opened her heart and her closet this week, donating a few items to an Ohio mom in need.
Peggy Joyce met the country star on Twitter, where she noticed Rimes was doing spring cleaning. "just wondering if u have clothes or accessories u don't want? Only one income coming in and extra money goes to son," Joyce wrote Wednesday.
Rimes quickly asked for her address and sizes, promising to pass along anything that matched. She later tweeted, "It will be on it's way soon. I have a few pair of flip flops for the summer and tennis shoes in your size….hope it helps."
Joyce couldn't have been happier, writing back, "my lil guy Connor..he's 16 months now..he thanks you too! So sweet of you!!"
She even promised to keep the goodwill going, adding, "When I get items I will pay it forward somehow to someone in need."
