Jennifer Lopez tops People magazine's 2011 Most Beautiful list
Jennifer Lopez has made it to the top of People magazine's Most Beautiful list.
The New York-born "American Idol" judge beat out the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, Jennifer Garner and Eva Longoria.
"Rarely am I left speechless, but I feel honored," the 41-year-old singer told the magazine.
Jenny from the Block, whose current single "On the Floor" is No. 8 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart this week, is married to singer Marc Anthony and has twins with him. Her upcoming album titled "Love?" will be out in May. And, lest we forget, Lopez recently debuted a reworking of the classic "Venus" song in Gilette razor commercials and has attained the unique title of "Venus Global Ambassador."
"I don't want anybody thinking it's easy. It does take time and it's hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody's friend!" Lopez, she of the perfect posterior, said of her beauty regimen.
Other women who made People's list: singer Jessica Simpson, Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, "Tangled" star Mandy Moore, "Desperate Housewives' " Dana Delany, Mrs. Tom Cruise Katie Holmes and "The Office's" Mindy Kalig and Ellie Kemper.
On the men's side, Zac Efron took top honors. The 23-year-old "High School Musical" alum took first place thanks to his abs, pecs and chest.
"I think it's important to remember to live in the moment and enjoy every day to the fullest," Efron told the magazine.
Efron, who also topped last year's list, is set to appear in Garry Marshall's star-studded "New Year's Eve."
Behind him were "Twilight" hottie Kellan Lutz and newly single Ryan Reynolds, People's sexiest man alive.
This year's Most Beautiful issue hits newsstands Friday.

People’s magazine should rename that to the most beautiful celebrity in America, Im not taking anything away from Ms lopez, because she is without doubt a beautiful woman Peoples magazine should visit Trinidad and Tobago around Carnival time and see some of the most unbelievably beautiful looking women in the world

jlo is actually pretty but not as beautiful as angelina jolie. i think it was a mistake naming jlo as the most beautiful woman. there are many more beautiful than jlo. anyway, i don't trust people's magazine polls.

That was smart marketing by People magazine they waited to announce Jennifer as the most beautiful in the world the same day as American Idol do they would get their magazine mentioned on American Idol for free and not have to pay advertisement genius very well orchestrated. Is she pretty yes but she also has a team of hair and makeup artist that work there magic if she was not a celebrity she would just be another average pretty woman. The title is not fair its the opinion of People magazine workers it should be titled "People Magazine Most Beautiful" to say in the world would mean surveying billions of people. I also find it amazing when someone has an opinion different then theirs and right away your a hater its just an opinions and they all should be respected .

Yes she is beautiful but only because of plastic surgeries. If you check the site celebrity plastic surgery you will see that all the beautiful celebrities have had jobs done ie. A.Jolie, Halle B, Scarlett J, Megan Fox, Natalie P, etc etc all of them are the most beautiful plastic women in the world. Real beauty does not require plastic surgery beside that you need to go to all corners of the world to say such a thing. Hollywood is all fake. That is all. MB

WORLD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL..REALLY PEOPLE MAGAZINE..she has great bone structure, and a body a personal trainer, and hours of working out have sculpted...who knows maybe even plastic surgery. To be selected as the world's most beautiful is a bit ridiculous, have you searched the whole world? I did't think so, no! I'm not a hater, she has talent, however; that comes with years of experience, and skilled cohorts collaborating to achieve dramatic results. Hours of professional make-up, hair-dressers, and air-brush...expensive clothes, lotions, etc., and there you have it...one of the most beautiful woman in the world. What-ever, we had a good laugh with this one. Thank you People Magazine.
