Before going on ‘Good Morning America’ on Wednesday to promote her new cookbook, Gwyneth Paltrow hosted a predictably fabulous party to toast her the book, ‘My Father’s Daughter,’ in New York City on Monday night.

Clad in a white halter dress, some Grecian pumps and a red lip, the actress and mom celebrated with famous pals at a private location in Manhattan.

Husband Chris Martin arrived and departed separately but got to hang with his mogul pal Jay-Z (sans wife Beyonce Knowles).

Jerry Seinfeld turned up looking formal in a black suit (the comedian’s wife, Jessica, is a close Paltrow pal), as did Christy Turlington and Ed Burns, trainer Tracy Anderson, chef Mario Batali, rocker Michael Stipe, Martha Stewart and Gwyneth’s mother Blythe Danner.

Just goes to show she’s got a lot more than ‘Glee’ cooking.
