Chace Crawford scored a pot deal Friday, but it didn’t involve a drug dealer or bag of weed. Instead, the ‘Gossip Girl’ star cut a deal to pay for his marijuana possession arrest with probation and community service.

Crawford, who was busted in Plano, Texas, last summer for having a joint in his car, opted for a pretrial diversion program. If he stays out of trouble he could emerge from the ordeal without a record, TMZ reports.

Here’s how it works: If the star, 25, performs 24 hours of community service, reports to a probation officer monthly and obeys the law (no arrests) the charges will drop off.

Crawford, who shot to fame as Nate Archibald on CW’s ‘Gossip Girl’ and saw his sister Candice Crawford get engaged to the Dallas Cowboys’ Tony Romo in December, will likely perform the community service this summer, according to TMZ.
