Poll: What should the title of Angelina Jolie's Cleopatra film be?

Angelina Jolie in 'Alexander' Over the summer it was announced that Angelina Jolie will star as Cleopatra in David Fincher's reboot film about the Egyptian Queen in 2013.

Even though the Scott Rudin-produced film will focus on Cleopatra as a shrewd political strategist instead of her romantic liaisons the way the 1963 Elizabeth Taylor film did, we still like to speculate about the potential leading men likely to play Julius Caesar and lover Marc Anthony. Talk of Brad Pitt as her leading man would parallel Taylor's relationship with fifth husband Richard Burton who played Marc Anthony in the 1963 film.

'Cleopatra: A Life' is the basis of the Cleopartra film Based on the Stacy Schiff biography,  "Cleopatra: A Life," the Los Angeles Times book reviewer said: "Cleopatra's story serves as a cautionary case study in the perils of celebrity." And who better knows about that than Jolie, who notoriously began a relationship with Pitt, then married to Jennifer Aniston, on the set of their film "Mr. and Mrs. Smith"?

The Ministry was inspired to come up with more decadent titles for the film that would do justice to the likely sumptuous high-budget film. So cast your vote and suggest alternatives in comments.

Brad helped ruin The Iliad by playing Achilles, a character whose diva-like, rageaholic personality was beyond him, and now his partner, who already helped ruin "Alexander," is set to destroy the story of Cleopatra.

This couple is not good for the ancient world! But it's not really their fault, because it's really the directors who fall out of their depth here.

Only Jolie could play this part, especially since it's about Cleopatra being a shrewd politician, Quaquin Phoenix or Felix the one that grew all that beard at one time should play Mark Anthony! That's a good match.

I think that there would be a much better Cleopatra then Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt
She does not even compare to Elizabeth

I think she is as a good a choice as any...but doubt the success of a new film on Cleopatra...Elizabeth Taylor's Cleopatra is just too iconic...

Alexander crashed at the box office...LOL Angelina is not beautiful now maybe way back but now she is homey veining She can't even hold a match next to Liz Taylor....Whoever gave her this part needs their eyes check NOW

Sorry, but regardless of whatever title they come up with for this film, I won't be seeing it. Jolie's desire to have Pitt play Mark Antony is a ludicrous and transparent attempt by her to try to re-create the Taylor-Burton passion, mystique and fascination that surrounded the 1963 film. Let me be absolutely clear about this...Angelina Jolie is no Elizabeth Taylor(and never will be), and Brad Pitt is no Richard Burton(and never will be), and if either Jolie or Pitt believe themselves to be the next generation Taylor and Burton, they are both seriously deluded.

she shouldnt even be playing Cleopatra - give it Halle Berry who would do the role justice.

Cleopatra will come across as this breathless, eyelids dropped sex thing with arms like a skeleton and tongue like as asp. she would be swinging from the chandeliers to jump Marc Anthony bones and wield rapid shooting daggers to wield off perpetrators. and dont forget the sex scenes - it will be aged restricted to 7 so that her kids can admire the violence, profanity, nudity and sex which is portrayed by their mother and protector of all children.

i think i will sit this one out

Okay pay attention to some facts Cleopatra was married to her young brother, she quickly made it clear that she had no intention of sharing power with him.( so i think james Haven should be cast)The relationship between Cleopatra and Caesar was obvious to the Roman people and it was a scandal, because the Roman dictator was already married to Calpurnia Pisonis. But Caesar even erected a golden statue of Cleopatra represented as Isis in the temple of Venus Genetrix (the mythical ancestress of Caesar's family), which was situated at the Forum Julium.[Brad Pitt and Jennifer aniston should be cast)Lets remember Angelina like to play herself this role suits Angelina ROTFLMAO If you don't belive look it up....

All of the beautiful and talented black actresses and they come up with Angelina? She should not be playing the role of Cleopatra, much less selecting who will play beside her. Just like my mother and countless others, I will not be seeing this false misrepresentation of a great African Queen. I would'nt want to have to expain that to my black adopted child either.

I don't think Fincher has made any announcement that he's actually doing this...

Ange is destined to play the Queen of the Nile while Rachel Aniston is always the Queen of Denial...har, har

There's a lot of evidence that Cleopatra, despite coming from a Macedonia lineage, was mixed race (with the other part being a far darker African).

Though I like Angelina Jolie, perhaps it's now time to have a Cleopatra who reflects that. I agree with the Halle Berry suggestion.
