Over the summer it was announced that Angelina Jolie will star as Cleopatra in David Fincher’s reboot film about the Egyptian Queen in 2013.

Even though the Scott Rudin-produced film will focus on Cleopatra as a shrewd political strategist instead of her romantic liaisons the way the 1963 Elizabeth Taylor film did, we still like to speculate about the potential leading men likely to play Julius Caesar and lover Marc Anthony. Talk of Brad Pitt as her leading man would parallel Taylor’s relationship with fifth husband Richard Burton who played Marc Anthony in the 1963 film.

Based on the Stacy Schiff biography, ‘Cleopatra: A Life,’ the Los Angeles Times book reviewer said: ‘Cleopatra’s story serves as a cautionary case study in the perils of celebrity.’ And who better knows about that than Jolie, who notoriously began a relationship with Pitt, then married to Jennifer Aniston, on the set of their film ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’?

The Ministry was inspired to come up with more decadent titles for the film that would do justice to the likely sumptuous high-budget film. So cast your vote and suggest alternatives in comments.
