Tina Fey shows her love for fellow showbiz mom Gwyneth Paltrow
Tina Fey might seem the type to lampoon a privileged A-lister such as Gwyneth Paltrow, but the funnywoman understands Gwyn's plight and, shock of shocks, can relate to her fellow show-business mom.
"Anytime you talk about being a working mother and you complain about it in any way, people eat your face," Fey told InStyle magazine.
"I remember reading some interview where Gwyneth Paltrow said something like, 'I missed my kids on the set one day and I was crying.' And I thought, 'Yeah, I've totally done that.'"
Not everyone is so empathetic.
"On the website where I read it there were these furious comments. 'But you're a movie star!' Yes, it's much worse for a mom serving in Afghanistan. Of course," Fey said. "But there's just no forgiveness."
Although we can't expect a lifestyle blog from Fey anytime soon -- we'd love to see her offer dessert recipes a la "Liz Lemon Tartlet," or a liver cleanse executed with Cheesy Blasters -- she's got a memoir coming up.
"Anyone who will barge into the room while you are on the commode is the boss of you," Fey said. "And when you explain to them that you're on the commode and that they should leave but they don't? That's a high-level boss."

Hmm. Yeah it is hard to feel sorry for mega multi-millionaires. For instance, if you miss your kids on the set, why not fly your kids and their nannies out with you so you could see them each day? It is frustrating that the richest people in the world get everything for free on top of that. Most people struggle to survive and miss their kids because they are at work all day and don't get to see their children because they're in bed by the time they are home from work. Now THAT"S sad.
