Sara Ramirez and 'Grey's Anatomy' doctors sing in musical episode [Video] [Poll]
Sara Ramirez, who stars as Dr. Callie Torres on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," will sing with the staff of Seattle Grace Hospital in Thursday's highly anticipated musical episode.
Ramirez, who won a Tony Award in 2005 as the Lady of the Lake in "Monty Python's Spamalot," will belt out songs as her character deals with cataclysmic events that follow a car accident with girlfriend Dr. Arizona Robbins, played by Jessica Capshaw. Just before the accident, Robbins asks Torres to marry her.
Capshaw will sing the signature "Grey's Anatomy" song, "How to Save a Life," by the Fray in the episode.
Now what of McDreamy and McSteamy?
"Song Beneath the Song" will air at 8 p.m. Thursday.

Ok, is it just me or does anyone else think the Grey's Anatomy has officially "jumped the shark" with this episode. They could be the best singers in the world, but this is not what I want to see on GA.

Who ever decided to do a muscial greys should be fired immediately. They took a potentially awesome episode and turned it into a mess. I had to change the channel. Worst episode I've ever seen, greys has officially sh!t the bed.

I'm watching this musical and I do not like it. Come on, doctors singing while doing surgery!!!

This stinks. We have been watching this show since day one and have never disliked an episode as much as this musical one. It can't even be taken serious. Soundtracks are always good but should be kept as soundtracks.

I definitly agree. I mean they can sing, yes, but that is not why I watch Greys anatomy... Im getting annoyed, I just want to watch the episode like it normally is.

I CAN'T EVEN WATCH THIS ANYMORE. THEY HAVE RUINED SUCH A SERIOUS EPISODE WITH THIS NONSENSE. THE STORY LINE HAS GOTTEN COMPLETELY LOST. I AM READING MAGAZINES DURING THE SINGING. UNBELIEVABLE.

They should never never do the show as a musical again. It took away from the drama. I really do not like it.

Yikes, this musical idea is just not working. The most dramatic storyline of the season and now everyone is just breaking into song? Gag me.

Oh god! this is so pathetic!

I just finished watching American Idol! Singing is over for the night. Should not be on Grey's Anatomy. They have really gone over the edge and definitely not to my liking.

They all have good voices, however, what could have been a really good show was ruined. This would have been fine in a lighter, funnier show. The music was out of place in this dramatic show!

The absolute worst most boring stupid episode ever. Why did they ruin a great show!

If I want to watch a musical, I'll watch Glee. Not enjoying this musical of GA at all! Plan to click it off and watch paint dry.
