Halle Berry laughs at her man troubles, flirts with Muhammad Ali
Halle Berry hasn't lost her sense of humor throughout her various trials with men -- like an ugly split from Eric Benet in 2005, and an uglier custody battle with recent ex Gabriel Aubrey over daughter Nahla.
As an honoree at this year's Muhammad Ali Celebrity Fight Night XVII in Phoenix, Berry cracked some jokes about her choices when it comes to love.
"If I would've just married Muhammad, I wouldn't have had any of these man problems I've had," she told a crowd including Billy Crystal, Bret Michaels, Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson, winking at the legendary Ali as she clutched her prize and adding, "Stupid girl."
Berry did wax philosophical about "the champ," saying he helped a fatherless young girl of color such as herself gain pride in her identity.
"Muhammad was someone that I always looked to and held as an image and a model of a man that I hoped one day to find. And I'm still looking for that guy," she said.
We're not sure where that puts Olivier Martinez, her current beau and "Dark Tide" costar. The two seem pretty secure (though Martinez wasn't present), but here's to Berry finding her own special Thrilla in Manila.

wow! how tacky to make that comment while his wife is standing right there! is she so narcissistic to think she could have been his wife? she is going off the deep end of delusion.

Responding to itzme : Halle Berry's comment about marrying Mohammed Ali was made in jest...which Iam sure he and his wife understood that. Halle Berry's allowed to express herself, and if that means getting Awards after Awards and making history the right way so be it, don't try and rain on her parade. She worked hard to get where she is today, not like Kim Kardashian who obtained fame from a porn movie with a black man and urine.

What of the comment about when she said she is still looking for that special guy?what of Olivier Martinez? Are they still together?it sounds like either they are not together or the relationship is not serious.does any one know what is going on with Halle and Olivier.I rarely see them together anymore.

still an inappropriate place to bring up your "man troubles". men are not her problem anyway - terminal narcissism - that is the issue!

Responding to lingling, there is nothing wrong with what Halle said.A lot of celebrites talk like that.I am glad she said something about her man troubles.
She has worked very hard to get to where she is.There have been lots of false rumors about her on the internet. It is okay for us to actually hear her in her own words once in a while. She is not narcissistic. If you want a narcissistic person, find Donald Trump.

Ali got 9 children by four wives cheated on number two with wife number three, perfect role model. No wonder Gabriel did not make the grade too nice and loyal.

Lame attempt at humor....

All I can say is Halle's bad luck with men is going to continue if she holds Muhammad Ali up as her role model! He was famous for never being faithful in his relationships. His current wife, who started out as the other woman, was even quoted as saying she was grateful he was now too sick to cheat on her!
