Elizabeth Taylor remembered: Jane Fonda, Kim Kardashian and more on Twitter
News of Elizabeth Taylor's death Wednesday morning had friends and fans busy on Twitter paying respects and sharing fond memories. The Oscar-winning actress, who spent some time on Twitter herself, was a celebrated Hollywood legend and her fellow stars were among the many to pay tribute.
Jane Fonda, Taylor's costar in the 1976 film "Blue Bird," wrote, "I knew elizabeth Taylor and I can tell you she was kind, brave, generous and loyal. I am sad."
Meanwhile Kim Kardashian, who interviewed the "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" actress about life and love (Taylor was married eight times to seven men) for the February Harper's Bazaar, tweeted "she will always be my idol!"
As the tweets continue to pour in we will post them here:

Elizabeth Taylor, Liz, you were a courageous woman and one of the most beautiful ever on the history of the planet. Your beauty shined through you and all around you. You were so down to earth... . an Angel on this earth. I hope your courage, values and ethics live on and on every day in your children and grand-children.

At least I know that when I croak, losers like Kim Kardashian and LaToya Jackson and Larry King and Kirstie Alley and Paris Hilton and Victoria Beckham won't be tweeting my praises! *GAG*

She was a natural beauty. She followed her dreams and achieved much...I suppose this is another reminder of the fact that this life is "like a vapor."
