Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas are dunzo

Seems the Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene lovefest contained in a Ministry post from Wednesday will now live in our Department of Just Kidding -- reports Thursday have the two broken up.

‘It was mutual and amicable,’ a source close to the couple told the New York Post’s Page Six of the split, which allegedly went down a few weeks ago. Jonas and Greene had dated for nearly a year.

If the split is a done deal -- reps for both stars could not be reached immediately for comment -- we’re going to assume it was amicable, given that Jonas just told Details that Greene always puts his feelings first.

Jonas will now release what we can only hope is a catharsis-laden solo album. Greene has plenty to occupy herself, with a spree of movies in the hopper and ‘Breaking Dawn’ filming.
