Adrianne Palicki in costume as NBC's 'Wonder Woman'
Adrianne Palicki has traded in Wonder Woman's signature booty shorts and red boots for spandex leggings and blue boots in NBC's remake of the comic-book-inspired series.
But don't worry, the bustier is as busty as ever.
It's safe to say that the actress is bringing her own brand of va-va-voom to the comic book hero. Lynda Carter, the original television Wonder Woman circa 1976, agrees.
"I think she looks fabulous," Carter told E! "It's a new look and, jeez, her body looks fantastic."
Indeed.
Palicki will play the Amazonian superhero and her alter ego in the David E. Kelley series. You'll see her wearing this get-up as she balances her corporate life with crime fighting this fall.
But the question remains: Does the former "Friday Night Lights" actress wear this under her business suits as Clark Kent does with his Superman outfit? Something tells us shiny tights are not exactly office-appropriate ... but, hey, it's L.A.
What do you think of the costume? Amazon glam or a total sham? Let us know in the comments.

I'm sorry but the colours and look in general are terrible. Bad bad bad call.

I like it, but I liked the costume Lynda Carter wore better. It needs more stars, and Lynda Carter's costume looked like it was more comfortable, and better for kicking ass.

It looks uncomfortable to wear. The golden highlights on the costume are too pointy and contrast too much with the skintight smoothness of the rest of the outfit. They also come off looking like plastic instead of looking like armor -- in fact, the whole thing has a cheap vinyl look, as if it were a Halloween dominatrix outfit. I don't like the tiara, either. The recent redesign of the outfit in the comics was supposed to ensure WW didn't look slutty -- it's hard to fight crime in a corset. Sadly, the ridiculous boobs and corset are exactly what this costume preserves.

That picture will doom the show before it starts. The outfit is horrible, and the actress looks like a bimbo. How can anyone take her seriously as the 'strong woman' figure Wonder Woman is supposed to be? So disappointing....

Horrible. I'm a huge fan of Wonder Woman and this looks cheesy and cheap. Why are they even messing with the original look of the outfit? Remember what happened when Superman change his look? Total flop and this is doomed to happen here. btw, should Wonder Woman be buff???

Did they learn NOTHING from the "Superman Returns" costume?
This outfit is a stripper's version of Wonder Woman!
Awful! Awful! AWFUL!

Is this a joke? What happen to the original costume? This one doesn't look like a super hero at all, it looks like a halloween costume party. C'mon NBC make the ultimate heroine stands out than the old one, This one doesn't look like it was pulled out from the comic book. The audience has to see the real amazon not a cheap costume ads.

Welcome to Wonder Woman, the newest dancer on Solid Gold! Epic fail.

This picture is terrible. I knew Palicki was wrong for the role from the moment she was announced, and everything about this picture proves it. The costume looks horrible on her and she lacks any semblance to how Wonder Woman should appear. I smell a huge bomb in the works.

Uh, well... I prefer the one in the newer comic books. I kind of dig the darker blue and the not so shiny. Man, I wish I was clever enough to make a stripper joke here that wouldn't make me sound like an a***ole.

Horrible costume is lousy, will not watch actress does not have the class as the original bad choice all around show will flop

After hearing how spectacularly David E. Kelley was going to screw up "Wonder Woman," I was going to avoid this series like the plague. After seeing Ms. Palicki in the new costume, which I assume will look better in other lighting than it does as a static still shot from an indoor studio, I will now watch at least one episode. With the volume turned down.

Boots should be red with white stripe..pants..ugh...and what's with all the red stars? Is she an American iconic hero or a closet communist?

I like the color scheme, but it just looks like cheap latex to me.

As a serious Wonder Woman collector over the past 30+ years, I have been dreading this day. This costume is horrendous. It doesn't even resemble anything in the comics books, nor the most recent JLA cartoons on Toon Network. This looks like a Halloween costume purchased from Fredricks of Hollywood. Is the Amazon Princess turning tricks on Hollywood & Vine in LA?
I'm absolutely disgusted and disappointed.

C'mon everybody, it is a new show based on a comic book character that everyone - from the previous Wonder Woman tv series. . . to the comic book writers have put their own artistic touches/ideas on.
To make it fresh there has to be some change - such as the new costume.
Give it a chance. I plan to watch and judge it from there.
I'm very excited to see the show!
Thanks for bringing WW back!!!

Drag queens will don this get-up for Halloween this year...with a few improvements and added touches...and then look FIERCE!

Wonder Woman, save me....now

Lynda Carter I wanted to feel up, Adrienne Palicki, not so much. Wonder Woman is a woman who kicks a%$. Who is this beanpole going to beat up?

Wow she is hot! You just made my day.

Enough already! Every single superhero costume is cheesy at heart, including the Bat Suit in the oh so serious "Dark Knight." As for WW herself, Palicki was great In FNL and Lone Star, I'm sure she can pull this off. What did people expect anyway, some Yohji Yamamoto creation?

I have to agree that the actress and costume are all wrong. Perhaps Lynda Carter was just so great that she can't be replaced. The costume just drepresses me. Why change something that was so iconic and successful? Well - NBC set out to capture a whole new audience and as a result they ruined it for the long time fans that eagerly awaited a return. If I were a woman I would be pissed. To have a heroine that was once classy and beautiful to a now trashy and cheap looking hoe. The new girl is pretty but she isn't beautiful. I don't want WW to be pretty - we have enough of that. We need beautiful like Lynda Carter, Jacklyn Smith, Laura Hutton and Cheryl Ladd.

I don't mind the top, but the bottom makes me laugh. This does resemble a Halloween costume catalog or some girl posting her cosplay pic on Myspace. Would be nice if the designing team used dark blue-black leather (or pleather) leggings. I know that no one can ever replicate another Lynda Carter, but I didn't imagine a modern WW to look like a makeup obsessed girl with no muscle tone at all and stiff hair that looks like it's been overdosed with hairspray. This is Wonder Woman we're talking about!! She has to have this powerful, natural beauty, goddess-like presence. I don't know anything about Adrianne Palicki, but when I google her..this girl is actually very pretty without all that makeup and with blonde hair. She would make a better Wonder Girl (Cassandra Sandsmark). I wished a younger Monica Bellucci could play WW in a movie..heh.
