Zsa Zsa Gabor is back in the hospital to have part of her leg amputated, her publicist said Sunday.

Doctors examined a growing blood clot in Gabor's leg Sunday and recommended the partial amputation, publicist John Blanchette told the Associated Press. The lesion had grown from 1 inch to 12 inches, a rep told Gossip Cop.

[Updated, 10:50 p.m.: Doctors feared gangrene could set in, presenting additional health risks, Blanchette told L.A. Now.]

Prince Frederick von Anhalt told TMZ that he'd called a private ambulance to take his wife back to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for what doctors told him was a life-saving measure.

The 93-year-old Hungarian actress and socialite's health has been touch and go since she broke her hip on July 17 while reaching to answer the telephone. Despite successful hip surgery on July 19, she had last rites administered by a priest Aug. 15.
