Montel Williams busted for drug pipe at airport security
Montel Williams was cited and fined for possesion of drug paraphernalia Tuesday after he was found carrying a marijuana pipe as he went through an airport security checkpoint in Wisconsin.
The former talk-show host, 54, was popped at General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, the county sheriff's department said.
Williams, a medical marijuana proponent who supports use of the drug to relieve symptoms of conditions including multiple sclerosis, was released and continued his travel plans after paying a $484 fine, the sheriff's department said.
And here we thought it was expensive to get caught carrying an extra suitcase?
An MS sufferer himself, Williams was diagnosed with the chronic neurological condition — which in his case manifests in part as numbness in his feet, weakness in his left leg and balance problems — in 1999, after experiencing symptoms for 20 years.
He founded the Montel Williams MS Foundation in 2000 to help further research into the disease.

For crying out loud! When are we going to put a stop to this insane prohibition of a beneficial, natural herb? If the government had any real intent to protect it's people they would be contibuting Montel's fine to research to find a cure for MS.

legalize the herb, please. Can we quit making the people into criminals just cause the smoke a plant. Lets start getting on people that drink case. I mean SWIM could smoke the herb all night long and do everything i can do sober the same or even better. Try doing that drunk... Montell getting busted....FAIL.

Keep in mind that you don't have to find someone "guilty" if you are ever on a jury. This is strictly a case of the Federal Government overriding the voters of several states. When a behavior becomes "normal" a prosecutor is compelled to de-emphasis or even ignore a law (such as swearing in public or other blue laws or old race laws).
Instead, look at what the current administration has done. Look at the record and the statements of the person that Obama chose as DEA chief.
Write your representatives, from the President on down. Just google "write my representative" or "write the president" because it's easy and will just take 30 seconds.

G-Damn Hippi Freak. Next thing you know, he'll be "advocating" more of the funding for veterans that was cut in 2005. They got 1.2 billion back of the 1.9 billion that was cut by the congress and President. What else does he want? Free commie healthcare?
