Minka Kelly, Leighton Meester screen 'The Roommate'
"#TheRoommate premiere tonight with @minkakelly!," Leighton Meester bubbled Sunday on Twitter. "Ecstatic to be with my girl! Kindred spirits."
Kindred spirits is one thing -- but let's keep the relationship on this side of "The Roommate" scenario, in which Meester portrays a college freshman obsessed with her new roommate, played by Minka Kelly. (Though we understand why a person might legitimatlely be obsessed with the sexiest woman alive.)
"Gossip Girl" star Meester, recently seen in "Country Strong," was psyched for an intimate screening of the film at Soho House in West Hollywood, which she attended in the company of fellow single white female Kelly of "Friday Night Lights" fame.
Other cast members on the red carpet included Billy Zane, Frances Fisher, Matt Lanter, Danneel Harris and Thomas Arana.
