La La Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony may have gotten married in New York, but that doesn’t mean the TV personality is pushing her new hubbyto leave Denver for a big-city market, the Nuggets forward said Wednesday.

‘Y’all put this in bold words, La La has nothing to do with anything,’ Anthony said, talking to the media about his big performance Tuesday night to beat the Phoenix Suns. ‘Whatever is my decision, she is going to support me. She has nothing to do with me staying or leaving. Nothing. So please keep her out of it. Thank you.’

So while Anthony has indeed turned down a big contract offer from Denver and has said he wants to be traded in the off-season, according to Yahoo Sports, ‘it wasn’t one conversation I had with her where she said, ‘Let’s get out of Denver.’ ‘

The couple were married in July — with guests including LeBron James, Spike Lee, Serena Williams, Ciara, Kim Kardashian and Ludacris, and a VH1 series to commemorate the occasion — and have a son together. Vazquez grew up in Brooklyn, and her husband was born in New York. His sister Michelle Anthony, a mother of four, died in December in Baltimore, where Carmelo grew up.

So, for the record, we would like to put in bold words, ‘La La has nothing to do with anything.’ How long till that bold statement of marital bliss comes back to bite hubby on the butt?
