Jennifer Aniston has no love for old friend 'the Rachel'
Jennifer Aniston hates Rachel? Oh wait, she hates the Rachel -- as in, the hairstyle that helped her blow open the doors to fame on "Friends" in 1995.
She says she loves longtime hairdresser Chris McMillan, and yet, "he's the bane of my existence at the same time because he started that damn Rachel, which was not my best look," she told Allure magazine. "How do I say this?
"I think it was the ugliest haircut I've ever seen."
Ouch. That kind of breaks our heart -- but we shall survive. Especially because Aniston also told the mag she doesn't get "The Bachelor" and how the women on the show "have three dates ... or something, and they're weeping as though they've just lost the love of their life." The Ministry, for the record, weeps at the notion of one day having three dates or something.
Is your loyalty with the Rachel or the current "Jennifer" locks?

This is a good example of why actor's aren't necessarily good at hairdressing (or dressing in general [Mr. Blackwell]). Rachel was just a character, and "The Rachel" looked great, and so did Aniston; she has great hair (always has) and beautiful features, so any hair style will look good on her. Problem is, her new statements about "The Rachel" amount almost to calling anyone kind of stupid who did like/love "The Rachel" style back then. As her hair is now--just letting it grow to a certain length isn't really a "style" at all, but it [and she] still looks good (of course, she's not playing Rachel now either).

I'd rather she learn to act. She was good as Rachel but that is about it. Maybe she has a difficult time giving up her own persona for a role.

No one is looking at your hair, Jen. We're staring about two feet a foot below that -- especially if you go topless in Wanderlust like reports say.

sheesh...Jen is airbrushed to all get out and what gives with the teddy bear pic??? Is she channeling Rielle Hunter???!! WTF...40 something women doing that deal...wow...really???!

The "Rachel" looked better than the no-style mop she keeps on her head now.

I like the Rachel look...Sorry, Jennifer, but the new look make you look like an aging hippie trying hard but in vain to look cool!

actually, the "rachel" helped play up her features and downplay her bad such as her upside-down triangle face. she's very narrow at the eyes and temples. that was a perfect haircut for her.

Does anyone care about Jennifer Aniston? Every movie she makes fails, and she is still riding the media wave from her Brad break-up. She is only getting older, less attractive, less appealing, and less relevant.

Actually she looked better with that hair cut then than she does now and I am not accounting for age. The hair style justlooks better than her current style. It is all in the eye of the beholder.

I agree with birdy - that haircut did a great job of hiding her wide jaw, pointy chin, close set eyes and played up her best features - her pretty eyes and hair. She should be thanking that hairdresser for getting it right. Did anyone see her Rolling Stone with the long bangs from years ago - ouch! Her nose and jaw looked enormous.

Her hair now is hideous, immature and it lacks any sort of style.
Straight, not well trimmed hair that is parted in the middle is just ugly and she has looked far better.
She is really stuck in a rut.

"Rachel" Aniston was always about her hair and not her acting! "Rachel" Aniston is always "Rachel" in every movie she's made...unlike Angelina who is a true star!...okay, let the heads explode...har, har..
