Helena Bonham Carter's mismatched shoes -- a Golden Globes homage to old-school 3-D glasses? [poll]
Helena Bonham Carter wore two different color shoes on the Golden Globes red carpet Sunday -- which makes us wonder if that's why Chris Colfer "literally screamed in her face," when he saw her, as he revealed backstage.
Colfer swore it was because he just loves her, but with the quirky "Alice in Wonderland" actress rocking one red shoe and one green, now we're simply not sure.
With Justin Bieber sporting purple-framed shades he said were for his upcoming 3-D movie, perhaps Bonham Carter was going retro, with an homage to the old-school 3-D glasses with one lens red, the other mismatched. And we remember how attractive those were.

Only Helena Bonham Carter can pull mismatched shoes off. This makes me love her even more.

Some people are symmetrical, some are asymmetrical. Further proof of the fact that she is an artist ...... to her toes. (sorry -- I had to say it)

The reason I love Helena is because she isn't fake like a majority of Hollywood. Not only does she express who she is freely, she is an example for all people out there that it is okay to be different!

Sorry all. I see this as a fail. I love Helena in all of her quirky movie parts and I think she is one of the finest actresses today however, she could fight the old Hollywood establishment and ideals just as well in matching shoes and a dress from Kmart and still look more professional than she does in this photo. Johnny Dep does this all of the time.

Eh, who cares? She's always trying to stick out, and this is just another attempt to do that.
I wonder what would happen if she just realized these public appearances are not all about her, and tried to mix in with everyone else?

At least she got the Starboard and Port colors right.
