Anne Hathaway is Catwoman for 'The Dark Knight Rises'
The good news won't stop coming for Anne Hathaway: The fumbling princess turned A-lister has just been cast as Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises."
Catwoman / Selina Kyle has been played in her previous big-screen incarnations by Michelle Pfeiffer and, in a disastrous, Razzie-winning turn, Halle Berry.
(And then there was that whole embarrassing sitch in 1991 when Sean Young tried to snag the role through blunt-force self-promotion. She did not succeed.)
Hathaway reportedly beat out Jessica Biel and Keira Knightley for the gig, opposite Christian Bale and a previously announced Tom Hardy.

Nooo!!! OMG, why do they pick these stupid little girls for Comic book movies. HAthaway should stick to Ella Enchanted or The Princess Diaries. A tough BAMF of a girl should be playing Catwoman. FML, Nolan, fire your casting director. Gyllenhaal, Holmes and HAthaway are all fails. As a woman, I want to see some actual thought put into the casting of females. Not just the first celebrity that tries out. Hathaway, Portman, Biel, stay the HELL away from Comicbook movies, you waifish little punks.

Anne Hathaway is a great choice for Catwoman. She is a great actress and beautiful. Not just a hot face who can't act like Jessica Alba.

I completely agree with you charlaP. You would think maybe they would read up on these characters alittle before just sticking some stupid bad acting hollywood prep in the spot. I could see someone more like kristin kreuk or some smaller known actress. Kristen is small, has eyes that would look intense under a mask, and can still kick butt. not anne hathaway..... anyone but her!!!!
