Zara Phillips, the eldest granddaughter of the queen, is engaged to be married to longtime boyfriend Mike Tindall, putting another royal wedding in the queue along with the nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Phillips, 29, is the daughter of Princess Anne and her first husband, Mark Phillips. Though she carries no title, she’s 12th in line to the throne. The two were engaged Monday at their home in western England.

Tindall, 32, met Phillips in a Sydney bar during rugby’s 2003 World Cup, when he played on the winning team. She is an Olympics-caliber equestrian, though she pulled out of the 2008 Beijing Games because of an injury to her horse.

In a statement, Phillips said she was ‘really shocked when Mike proposed but I am very happy.’

Tindall said: ‘I am delighted that Zara has agreed to marry me. We are both very excited about the next stage of our lives together.’

No date or place has been set, though bookies were reporting the favorite picks to be August and Windsor Castle, where Zara’s brother Peter married his wife two years back. Click the picture of the ring, right, to see a larger view.

In other royal wedding news, the official china of the April 29 ceremony for Prince William and his Kate has gone on sale, the BBC reports. Designed and approved by the happy couple, the bone china features ‘the couple’s entwined initials in gold and silver surmounted by Prince William’s coronet and the wedding date,’ said Nuala McGourty, the Royal Collection’s director of retail.

‘Doves, white ribbons and hearts in silver, gold and gray, set against a pale-gray striped background, decorate the whole range,’ she said.
