Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka on double diaper duty

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka are piping up about new-dad life at home with their newborns, Harper Grace and Gideon Scott.

The two bundles, delivered via surrogate in October, are settled into a new, "more kid-friendly" home with their dads -- who themselves are getting accustomed to parenting.

"Everyone says that it's such a blur after it happens," Harris told People. "I find myself constantly just trying to wrap my mind around it."

Perhaps, then, you can wrap your head around this bit of sharing: Harris spelled out exactly who, um, fertilized what.

"We inserted two eggs, one with my sperm, one with David's sperm and they both took," he said.

Burtka sings of "absolute joy" over the two, and the couple are more than happy to give over their schedule to their brood.

"We can use them as an excuse to get out of almost anything," Harris said. "That's cleared the calendar in a good way."

… seriously? Is that realy necessary of you to make fun of it? All the magazines have been FULL of rumors about who might be the bio Dad, and they simply told the truth to shut them up. Otherwise, they'd have kept digging in medical reports.

I love Neil Patrick Harris and how I Met Your Mother! It is a brilliant show and he is a fantastic actor! We should all honour his bravery and courage for being so open about being gay as everyone should be! I am so happy for him and his new little family. His kids are adorable and I'm sure that after a few years or even months they will be able to tell which twins belongs to which father Neil or David! But no need to worry about show recording being cut because I am sure that Neil Patrick Harris will keep us updated, laughing and Suiting Up! For all of 2011 and for many years to come!!!
