Report: Madonna let off plane hours before other snowed-in passengers
Madonna knows a thing or two about perks, but a recent travel incident seems to have conjured more than standard star envy.
A Virgin flight bound for London's Heathrow airport out of New York containing Madge was diverted to nearby Stansted, where an overflow of weather delays kept passengers on the tarmac for three hours.
Except for passengers in the Madonna entourage, the Daily Mail reported Monday.
"After about an hour, a bus came along and took her and her party of about 15 off the plane. It seemed a little unfair — it's not like she is the president or anything. The rest of us all had to wait for another two hours," a first-class passenger told the paper.
If the early out didn't ruffle enough feathers, alleged in-flight entertainment from the singer occurred before she was scooped from the craft.
"It was bad enough having to wait, but then she started doing her yoga in the aisles," the witness said.
Well, they say circulation is important at 30,000 feet. What do you think of Madonna's plane predicament? Tell us in the comments section below.

that would be PriMadonna and don't you forget it! only the little people have to wait in planes for 3 freakin' hours...It's the power of Madonna..

I've done yoga stretches on airplanes while waiting for the loo. It's good for the circulation and it can also relieve in-flight crankiness. So maybe the people complaining about Madonna's yoga should give it a try.

At least she didn't pull a Josh Duschamel or a Kevin Smith diva scene.

She's Madonna. Of course she is going to be let off the plane before everyone else. Like her or not she is a worlwide icon and a very powerful woman. People do yoga stretches on planes all the time....nothing out of the ordinary.

I'm sure the early out cost her a pretty penny.

who cares!

Madonna's so awesome-she invented everything. And without her no women would be allowed to sing or write songs. And she invented fire. And the wheel.
She's amazing-just ask her.

i WILL EXPECT THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT FOR ANY CELEBRITY. ALSO HAVING HER AND HER ENTOURAGE OUT IN THE OPEN CAN ALSO BE A SAFETY ISSUE.i THINK IT WAS O.K.

I can't believe people are defending Madonkey here. It really shows how celebrity worship in this country has gotten out of control. Obviously, she shouldn't get special treatment. It isn't a security concern and it isn't ok. The passenger who complained because she did Yoga in the aisle is an idiot. That has nothing to do with it. She should have waited just like everyone else and there's no logic for her to be treated any different!

If ever there was an argument that fame (even from yesteryear) and $$$ separates people here it is.

She probably paid for the bus herself. If it was an airline bus and they only let her off I'd complain but the article doesn't say. If you had millions and you could get off a plane early you would too.

As one of the many unwashed not allowed to leave the planes that day, I think the focus should be why we were stuck on the planes in the first place. It was common knowledge among pilots and crews that the real reason wasn't the tiny amount of snow blocking the runways, but the fact that airport maintenance had RUN OUT OF DE-ICER FOR PLANES TO EB ABLE TO TAKE OFF! The resulting backup, confusion and coverup led to planes being allowed top land and congest taxiways and parking areas, but no way for planes at the gates to get to takeoff. This fact was confirmed to me by several airline staffers, but has never seen the light of day in the press. Part of the reason for this was the refusal by heathrow officials to allow camera crews into the airport the next day.
