The woman who pleaded no contest to slashing Leonardo DiCaprio‘s face with a broken bottle as he left a Hollywood Hills party in 2005 was sentenced Tuesday to two years in state prison, L.A. Now reports.

Aretha Wilson, 40, who was extradited from Canada on July 30, was ordered in August to stay 500 feet away from the actor.

She entered her plea to assault with a deadly weapon on Nov. 12.

The attack allegedly occurred as DiCaprio was leaving a small party at the home of Paris Hilton‘s ex Rick Salomon on June 17, 2005. ‘As a result of the assault, Mr. DiCaprio suffered a laceration to the left side of his neck, requiring several sutures,’ police said in a statement at the time. (He needed 17 stitches.)

Wilson should get 330 days credit for time served in jail, L.A. Now says.

In an unrelated case, DiCaprio got a restraining order in September against a woman, Livia Bistriceanu, 41, who for years has claimed to be the actor’s wife and to be pregnant with his child.

Away from court, DiCaprio donated $1 million to the World Wildlife Fund on Nov. 23 to help prevent the extinction of tigers, while he was participating in a summit on the issue in St. Petersburg, Russia.
