LeAnn Rimes, Sheryl Lee Ralph to sing with Gay Men's Chorus of L.A. for Christmas shows
There are lots of new men in LeAnn Rimes' life just in time for the holidays -- the country singer will perform with the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles for its annual holiday show, as will Sheryl Lee Ralph of "Dreamgirls" fame.
Rimes will perform at a Dec. 19 matinee, with Ralph turning out for matinee and evening performances on Dec. 18 at Glendale's Alex Theatre, which seats 1,460. This year Rimes will also get an introduction to "the kid tradition," she said recently at the CMAs, with plans to spend Christmas at home with Eddie Cibrian and his two sons.
Noting that the holiday program -- "a great mix of tradition, whimsy, poignancy and, of course, fun" -- is one of the group's most popular presentations each year, chorus honcho Hywel Sims said the group is honored to have Rimes on stage this year. The chorus has in the neighborhood of 200 voices, including 12 original members from 1979. Tickets are $15 to $55 and available at gmcla.org.
Though the song list includes a mix of traditional and contemporary Christmas tunes, the Ministry was crushed to realize it had misread one of the numbers. Turns out the costumed fellas down below are part of "Elves Broadway Christmas," not "Elvis Broadway Christmas."
Oh well. The group's "Black-Light Puppet Spectacular" set to "The 12 Days of Christmas" just might make up for the King's absence.
(Also -- the chorus participated in the It Gets Better Project that's been joined by celebs including Anne Hathaway and Jenny McCarthy. Check out the GMCLA video below.)

Can you please make sure that Ms Rimes doesn't give an interview where she weeps about how SHE had a difficult time last year(the same year that she was photographed at hotels and restaurants with a married man), like she did when she sung for the CMA Christmas special on ABC?

Good message, good group...bad choice of performer in LR. She is a selfish, self-centered, unremorseful individual who interfered with a family, committed adultery, and lied about it.

Did they really have to choose LeAnn Rimes for this? What is she known for but homewrecking and childhood yodeling?

To see Eddie Cibrian in tights would be fabulous!!

Even in the spirit of the holidays, people still feel time to hate. It's no wonder why the "It Gets Better" project was put in place.

Kel C,
Yes we know that even in the spirit of holidays, LEANN RIMES still feels the need to hate. With all the hatred that Leann spews on twitter against a mother, it is a wonder why Leann even bothered to do that "It Get's Better" video. Did you know that she is sitting on twitter and allowing her fans to call her those kids mother and even gloating over how EC custody aggreement always works in LR and EC favor?
How are we expected to believe that Leann Rimes cares about others when she can't even show compassion to the woman of the married man she had an affair with?
All those tweets about those kids are getting out of hand, but then again she has to sell that single so she is going to get as much pr out those kids as possible.
Can the media stop glorifying Leann until she learns to stop tweeting about those kids and tipping off the paps when she is with them?

I was privileged to see Miss Rimes last night in Glendale, and along with the chorus she was a knockout. She sang "The Rose" to honor those who have killed themselves because of the haters in society- some of which I see posted here-and at least in that theater, she could do no wrong for all of us. If you don't know her personally, or talk to her daily, don't fall for the tabloid crap. Start every day by judging who's in your mirror before you cast stones at someone else.
