Josh Duhamel kicked off plane in New York over texting
This just in: Josh Duhamel does not have an iPhone. The actor was booted off a plane at New York's La Guardia Airport on Thursday after he refused to stop texting and turn off his BlackBerry, according to reports.
A flight attendant asked the actor to turn off the device three separate times, sources told TMZ, and on the third time Duhamel allegedly laughed at his request. Back at the gate, two officers escorted the actor off the Kentucky-bound plane.
Duhamel had attended Billboard's Women of the Year luncheon event honoring his wife, Fergie, on Thursday.
A Duhamel rep confirmed to Gossip Cop that the "Transformers" star had indeed been texting, and that his actions caused the already-delayed plane to be turned around off the runway. "He's sorry," she said.
"Transformers: Dark of the Moon," the third installment in that franchise, is set for a July 1 release.

Another arrogant celebrity idiot, that is not sorry and only cares about himself. He should have been charged with interfering with the flight crew.

They kicked him off the plane because he wouldn't stop texting?
When did that become a punishable offense?
Don't flight attendants and the TSA have more important things to worry about?
(Let me amend that: If using a cellphone on a plane is against the rules, I can understand why he was escorted off the plane. Rules are meant for everyone; an individual, no matter who he/she is, can't decide which rules apply to them and which don't. That said, if there are no restrictions on cellphone use, then, to me, someone was on a power trip)

@Linda,
All cellphones have to be turned off on a plane before takeoff and before landing in the U.S. I think it's been a rule for as long as I can remember.

did anyone tell Josh Duhamel he is not a star. No class,
He is just a D star. Someone should sit him down and tell him he just a nobody.

@Linda, cell phone signals interfere with the plane's navigational equipment and have to be completely turned off for the entire flight, unless you can put them in "airplane mode" where you can play games and such but not get a signal. Lindsey is correct that this is nothing new, Duhamel is just a d-bag.

Well, he just lost his fan base in our house. Sorry, my butt! Didn't his mother teach him manners and concideration for others. This may seem like a small thing but it sure shows you where he is coming from and what a selfcenter ass he turned into
