Jordin Sparks will celebrate her 21st birthday Wednesday night with a party to benefit her ‘I’m M.A.D., Are You?’ campaign.

Singer Sparks, who won ‘American Idol’ in 2007, was practicing some positive thinking on her birthday, saying on Twitter, ‘Kickin my immune system into high gear! I will not get a cold today!! Birrrrrrthdaaaaay! I’m so excited!!! AZ you comin? Rwbafterparty.com!’

‘M.A.D’ stands for ‘making a difference’ in whatever way you can to help your community, Sparks’ charity Facebook page explains, urging people ‘to find something they’re passionate about, maybe get a little ‘mad’ about it, and funnel that energy into doing something to help another.’

The Red, White & Black Jordin Sparks Birthday Bash in Phoenix costs $20 a head, and guests must be 18 or older. Micah Bentley and Jonathan Kelley from Arizona pop band Change of Pace will perform live, and Chris Brown’s DJ Babey Drew will work the music.

Leave those cameras at home, kids.
