Demi Lovato and Alex Welch have settled any differences around Lovato allegedly giving the backup dancer a black eye during the Jonas Brothers tour in October, Welch’s attorney said Thursday.

Any issues have ‘been resolved amicably and completely,’ attorney Donald Karpel told E! News.

TMZ first reported word of an alleged confidential financial settlement. Welch had threatened to sue Lovato over the Oct. 31 incident, which was a prelude to Lovato quitting the Jonas tour to get what her reps on Nov. 1 called ‘medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time.’

Lovato, who’s also on leave from her Disney show ‘Sonny With a Chance,’ remains in a Chicago treatment facility (please, don’t call it rehab). Her name popped back into the news recently when Anna Oliver, a friend she shares with Miley Cyrus, taped the ‘Hannah Montana’ star smoking salvia out of a bong.
