Chris Brown proud of completing 52-week domestic-violence education program
Chris Brown posted this picture of his certificate of completion for a court-ordered, 52-week online program against domestic violence Monday with the note, "I'm done with class." On Tuesday he explained his decision to make the milestone public.
"I have enough self-respect and decency to be proud of accomplishing this DV class.. Boyz run from there mistakes.. Men learn from them!!!thx," Brown said on Twitter.
Brown was sentenced to five years' probation and 180 days of community service, plus the class, after pleading guilty in August to the felony assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna after a party the night before the Grammy Awards in February.
While on probation, the 21-year-old singer has been praised repeatedly by the judge, who told him in November that "no one has done a better or more consistent job than you have" in meeting the requirements set out for him.
