Alanis Morissette welcomes a baby son with Mario 'Souleye' Treadway
Alanis Morissette and husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway have welcomed a baby son.
Their boy, Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway, was born on Christmas, a rep confirms to People.
The 36-year-old singer married her 30-year-old rapper boyfriend May 22 at their L.A. home and kept that news quiet until June. Morissette let the baby news out in August via Us magazine, in the same interview in which she listed marrying Treadway as "the smartest thing I've ever done."
Morissette's name popped into the news recently around the breakup of Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds, a fellow Canadian she'd been engaged to for a couple of years, beginning in 2004. Some outlets speculated Morissette, who broke out musically in 1995 with her album "Jagged Little Pill," was the ex the actor had reportedly turned to during his breakup, "seeking comfort" in a platonic way.
As for the new family, "all are happy and healthy," the rep said.
