Holy blowout Taylor Swift! What do you think of her straight hair? [poll]

Taylor Swift and her hair put on a slick performance Sunday at the American Music Awards, as the country pop star broke with her wavy trademark, sporting bangs and straight locks and winning favorite country female artist over Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood.

Not that we're saying this was any Adam Lambert-style performance -- but still, relatively speaking, the hair was a bit shocking.

Oh yeah, she sang her new ballad "Back to December" as well.

The straight hair, if you look at the picture for Back to December, is for that song. That's obviously why she wore it like that. And I think she looks cute. She does need to switch it up sometimes, not just keeping her one hairstyle. But she's beautiful, nonetheless. :)

I dont understand why its such a big deal. First of all its just hair, second she has done this before...its not new...at all. so why talk about it?

Her hair looks so much better, straight bangs and straight hair. I only see her at the check out stand at the grocery store or at the doctor's office (easy reading while waiting), but I think she is a real cute young girl and I thought her old hairs style was not flattering for her age.

I agree with @Nina, the only reason I reached this poll was through searching for Adam Lambert on Google. I find it rather sad that writers feel the need to use his beautiful name to get more hits. I'm no fan of hers, and I think IRS a crime that Adam's name is on the same page as hers. If you want an article to get more hits, make it actually relevent to Adam other than mentioning his name and a brief reference to something that happened an entire ayear ago. Why not keep him and his name out of this and write about how terrible Taylor Swift sounds live?

She always looks beautiful no matter how she wears her hair. However, I like it down and wavy and curly better. She has beautiful eyebrows which should not be covered with bangs. It was fun for a change, I am sure.
