Report: Lindsay Lohan freed from rehab for Thanksgiving with father Michael
Although Lindsay Lohan and her dad seem more likely to smash each other on Twitter than break bread across a table, it appears the two spent the Thanksgiving holiday together.
The embattled actress was given a day pass from Rancho Mirage's Betty Ford Center to give thanks with friends and father Michael, according to TMZ.
Citing sources close to Lindsay, the report indicated she was free for about 15 hours, embarking on a two-hour drive to Los Angeles on Thursday morning, and was required to return that evening.
If in fact true, mother Dina, notoriously at odds with her ex, probably had a heaping side of sour grapes with her dinner. It hasn't been an easy few days in Lohan-land -- another report said Dina was attempting to get Lindsay to New York City for the occasion.
In the career department, Lohan's long-discussed role as porn star Linda Lovelace was assumed by actress Malin Akerman.

i think lindsay really deserves this break from betty ford rehab , because she's working on herself and getting better , so she needs a little space and support to show her that she isn't in a jail or something !

Rehab business's are not jails and therfore Lindsay has rights to obtain a pass from a MD, allowing her to leave rehab for the day! If people think its not fair that Lindsay getting celeb treatment than write the judge and complain! Remember the judge didn't order Ms. Lohan back to jail!

I think Lo has been given too many breaks in life. She should have served a few years. It's time to treat these celebs like regular individuals and get to know the real worls.
