'Inside oldness,' Jane Fonda isn't afraid of aging
The Ministry is declaring it You Gotta Hand It to Jane Fonda Day.
In addition to general awesomeness and a set of survival skills only a true Hollywood legend could have, Fonda recently came through a cancer scare and now stars on the cover of V magazine's age issue.
Styled in leopard prints and chunky jewels, Fonda, 72, doesn't shy from talk of being A Certain Age.
"We always fear getting older when we're young. It's scary when you're on the outside. But when you're inside oldness, it's not scary," she said.
Fonda recently discovered a small tumor, feared to be breast cancer. Scans revealed the mass was benign and she's now cancer-free.

I've always been a fan of the Fondas...being from Omaha, where Henry and his wife and kids lived, I naturally followed them...
Jane has apologized over and over for her actions in Nam, and I think everyone should get over it...
Jane and Peter are around my age group, and I think she is in magnificent shape...I only wish I had been so lucky and hadn't gotten arthritis...
I'm not so sure I agree with her about age tho...I sure am not having fun with the added weight and inability to move like I once did...but then, Jane grew up with a lot of money and access to the big docs, etc...I don't begrudge her...I just don't completely agree with her...altho I was anxious to get my first 'senior discount' all those many years ago...lol
