Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka: Twins are here!

Neil-patrick-harris-twins Neil Patrick Harris and partner David Burtka finally got that stork delivery -- the couple have welcomed fraternal twins, Harris tweeted on Friday.

"Babies!!" says the tweet. "[On Tuesday] Gideon Scott and Harper Grace entered the Burtka-Harris fold. All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey."

The couple announced in August that the actor and his chef partner were expecting the pair.

Harris will be one busy dad -- on Thursday we told you he's stepping up for his film directorial debut. The "How I Met Your Mother" star will helm an indie romance starring Emma Roberts.

Congratulations from The Ministry to the new family.

Wait -
I know for a fact that David Burtka already HAD twins from a previous relationship in NYC with a different actor.
And I also know he walked out on that actor and the kids...

And now he's got two more?

Careful, Neil.

are you serious Tony???

Hi Neil and David,
Congratulations on the Birth of Your Twins; Gideon Scott and Harper Grace.
You will have your hands full but what a Joy they will give you.
Twins have run in our family for generations.
Twins have a real bond between them for the most part.
Warm Regards and Best Wishes, Joan
PS You will make real good parents.

@tony

Yes, David has children from a previous relationship. They live with their other father, but David and Neil visit them as often as possible. Neil's stated that in interviews before. You're being a bit sensationalist to say he "walked out" on them. A lot of people have step-children and step-siblings.

So I guess mothers don't matter? Shame on all adults who intentially condemned these children to being deprived of a mother.

Knowing the father myself at the time, i can say confidently it was a walk out situation.

Not sensationalism at all,
Just pointing out it happened before...
