Jon Stewart: The most influential man of 2010? Really?

Jon-stewart-askmen most influential Jon Stewart influences the life choices of more than a half-million people.

I know, I was shocked too. But apparently the host of "The Daily Show" and Saturday's Rally to Restore Sanity beats out Kanye West (No. 5), New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees (No. 6), Facebook kingpin Mark Zuckerberg (No. 3) and even President Obama (No. 21 -- ouch) when it comes to influencing the decisions of individuals.

Or at least the decisions of those who submitted the half-million-plus votes to AskMen.com's fifth annual Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2010 poll.

Sure, we can debate the validity of this poll (um, last year's winner, Don Draper from "Mad Men," isn't even a real person -- no matter how much we wish otherwise). But why let AskMen.com be the only one with a nonscientific online poll? Vote here!

Which of the top 10 on AskMen.com's poll is the most overrated? Don't forget to explain your vote in the comments section.

Wait! Don't go yet! Here's more coverage of the Most Influential Man of 2010 -- er, Jon Stewart.

Kanye West is a douchebag, and I doubt anyone seriously respects or admires him anymore. How he got anywhere on this list is bewildering. He's classless and uncouth, and is a terrible role model, not to mention he became the laughingstock of the nation when he bashed poor Taylor Swift, completely unprovoked, at the 2009 VMAs

I too voted for Kanye West as the most overrated. He's a self-indulgent ass with an overblown ego.

I have to admit, though, to knowing only five of the ten names on your list. This begs some questions: How overrated can some of these guys really be if their names don't ring any bells? And how fair is it to the others whose names I do know to pit them against people who can't possibly get my vote?

At this point in the voting, Jon Stewart ranks second after West, but is that really because he's overrated (and, by extrapolation, unpopular) or because his is the most ubiquitous of the names that people might actually recognize?

This is like the preacher singing to the choir. Waste of ink on paper or in this case waste of good screen time. If Leibowitz replaces letterman I might watch him.

Iwish to see this piece in 1944 germany

John Javna rocks! He's an atheist and hates conservatives and plays a mean classical guitar; that's my kind of man!
