Gavin Rossdale comes clean about relationship with cross-dresser
Gavin Rossdale has finally addressed rumors about his relationship with a cross-dresser named Marilyn, saying the two had a one-time encounter when he was 17.
Gwen Stefani's husband opened up to Details magazine about the long-rumored connection with the singer in lady gear, a.k.a. Peter Robinson. Robinson's account of their relationship first surfaced in 1995, and then again in 2009.
"When you're 17, Jesus Christ. I don't think there's anything strange about any form of — you're learning about life. It's a part of growing up," said the former frontman for the rock band Bush.
Robinson claims the affair went on as long as five years, though Rossdale maintains the two were intimate on only one occasion.
"Yeah. That was it. You have to know what you like, and I know what I like."

It's nice that, after 30 years, Gavin is finally comfortable enough to admit what has long been known.
One thing is obvious: Gavin has great taste in women. And men.

I am not sure about his comment, certainly isn't the norm for most teens. At 17, I was into sports, school, and chicks...not playing peek-a-boo with some cross-dresser. That dude has got some issues.

I agree with him. I'm straight but did stuff with a guy friend growing up. It's like if someone offered you an Aston Martin or a Mercedes, you know you're probably going to go with the Aston Martin, but you at least want to take the Mercedes out for a test drive to be sure.

this guy is out of it. By blaming his affair with a cross dresser on being 17 and vulnerable tells me he will be 80 and vulnerable. All I know is that I knew at age 2 that what he did was weird but then again, the word normal doesnt exist for who does one compare themsleves to be fit the word normal?

At 17, Gavin was a guitarist in a band--not a jock. I can totally see a young artist experimenting sexually. Instead of being into "sports, school, and chicks", he was more into music, performance, and "chicks". ;-)
