While it might not be the policy on ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ silence is golden to reality star Danielle Staub.

She was spared a Tuesday deposition in a defamation suit filed by ex-husband Kevin Maher when both parties magically agreed Friday to settle out of court.

Maher slapped Staub with the suit after she alleged that their marital life was full of insane exploits, including rape and gun play.

‘She’s been ducking and hiding from her deposition since this lawsuit has been filed,’ Maher told E! News. ‘Oct. 5 will be the worst day of her life, when she is confronted under oath with all her lies. She’s going to be destroyed.’

Not so much anymore, with Staub settling just days before her scheduled depo. Maher finds this fact ‘interesting,’ according to E!

The terms of the settlement are confidential, but your comments on Danielle’s latest exploits are best kept open to the public. Tell us your profanity-free thoughts below.
