Christina Aguilera, husband Jordan Bratman are separated

Christina-aquilera Pop diva Christina Aguilera and her music exec husband Jordan Bratman are separated, and like yesterday's news Courteney Cox and David Arquette, it's been that way for awhile, sources have told "Extra" and Us Magazine.

The couple are not legally separated but have been living apart, working on their marriage and deciding whether to divorce, the reports said.

They have a 2-year-old son, Max.

Aguilera met in 2002 and married in Napa Valley almost five years ago, in November 2005.

She said at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards that her single "Ain't No Other Man" was about Bratman; the tune, which won a Grammy in 2007, includes these lyrics:

Ain't no other man can stand up next to you
Ain't no other man on the planet does what you do, what you do.
You're the kind of guy a girl finds in a blue moon
You got soul, you got class
You got style, you're bad ass -- oh yeah!
Ain't no other man it's true
Ain't no other man but you

Fortunately when the rest of us split up, we only have to toss those love notes that were scribbled  inside romantic cards, which usually haven't over the years been bought up in the millions by our friends.
