Brown attended Audi’s Eunice Kennedy Shriver Challenge, a weekend of charitable efforts in honor of the late Kennedy matriarch that benefits Best Buddies International and the Special Olympics.

Brown sang the national anthem to kick off festivities and then hosted his own 1-mile Fun Run on Saturday for kids of all ages. Following his run, Brown took time to throw a few football passes with the kids.

‘American Idol’ singer David Archuleta and figure skater Michelle Kwan attended as well, hosting activites to raise awareness for youths with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
