Tom Brady OK after car accident; man in other vehicle hospitalized
New England Patriots quarterback and American beefcake treasure Tom Brady was involved in a car accident on Thursday morning in Boston, according to the team's official Twitter account.
"...Brady was in a car accident this morning. He was not hospitalized and is expected at Gillette Stadium today," the tweet reads.
Although Gisele Bundchen's man remains unfazed, officials confirm to news services that a passenger in the other car was hospitalized with injuries "not considered life threatening."
The report also indicates that the "jaws of life" were used to removed the injured man from the other vehicle.
ESPN notes that Brady is in talks to extend his contract with the Patriots before their regular season begins Sunday.
