Niecy Nash is engaged (and there aren't enough exclamation points to do it all justice!)
Niecy Nash got engaged to beau Jay Tucker on Saturday night, a year to the day after the two were introduced at a Labor Day weekend barbecue — and boy is this self-labeled "crazy bride" excited!
"I am so grateful that God would be kind enough to love me through this man," she said Wednesday on her website. "If you are waiting on your gift — prepare! Whatever you believe, can manifest in your life! Get Ready!!!!
The "Dancing With the Stars" contestant and former "Clean House" host described the proposal — dessert, a candle and his-and-hers wishes were involved — and solicited wedding planning advice ahead of the May 2011 date.
"I got married the first time 20 years ago, and my ex-husband planned everything because I had never been to a wedding!!! I know. Crazy. Right?!"
Of Tucker, Nash said, "My guy is amazing! Not a perfect man, but definitely perfect for me."
Any advice for the bride-to-be?

Congratulations Niecy! Girl, you've cracked me up for many years. I'm sure you'll keep Lucky Tucker in stiches for the rest of your life! Good luck to you and your children! God bless all of you!

Niecy is a Doll!! I loved her on DWTS, her energy and bubbly personality. I wish her all the best. Niecy, it took me 60 years to find my perfect (for me) man. May God Bless you Both!

Great news! Niecy Nash is just plain delightful! She just bubbles over with energy and charm that radiates through the TV screen. She's also baby-doll cute. Her fiancee is a lucky man. I wish them unending happiness in the future!

I remember her on DWTS when the subject of gay marriage came up and she tearfully said that she just couldn't imagine not being able to be with her boyfriend because she loved him so much. I was touched.
