Mel Gibson extortion investigators will talk to Oksana Grigorieva's lawyers

Sheriff's investigators want to talk to a couple of Oksana Grigorieva's lawyers as part of their expanding probe into whether someone close to Mel Gibson's baby mama attempted to extort money from the Oscar-winning angry man.

At least one of the attorneys had represented ex-girlfriend Grigorieva in her custody mediation with Gibson, L.A. Now reports. That mediation reportedly resulted in a $15-million deal -- ultimately rejected -- that would have required her to destroy all "evidence" related to the breakup.

No suspect has been named in the extortion allegations, but sources told TMZ on Tuesday that Natalie Grigorieva, Oksana's younger sister, was in possession of the explosive audio tapes of the couple shortly after they were recorded.

"The interviews should take place in the next couple of weeks," L.A. County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said. Investigators are also reviewing e-mails, text messages and recent interviews with various parties involved, L.A. Now said.

In a related development, an Us Magazine source says Oprah Winfrey will get the first sit-down interview with Oksana.

Why is Oprah doing this ( Grigorieva interview)? Surely there has to be better people to interview.

Grigorieva is an exceptionally unethical, destructive person.

I am Russian and as million Russians we are ashamed that she represents women from our country.

We all know that she is a bad singer, she faked her charity ( using Gibson) with the purpose to promote herself.

She set up Mel: just listening her provocative talking with Mel on the phone will give you the idea how low is this woman.

Anybody who follwed her story will see how many contradiction in her stories she invented and the harm that this evil woman is doing is very serious. She humiliates women who are really suffering from abuse by her actions and her false personality.

Pravda some of what you say is true and some isn't.

An "isn't." Oprah has been slumming a lot recently. She even interviewed Tiger Wood's mistress Rachael Uchitel. She's changed directions.

Another "isn't". Mel has been the poster boy for bigotry and rage for years. This is nothing new to anyone half way conscious in America. If that doesn't bother you, you're not much better than Oksana. She didn't make him do any of that. He is like that.
