Sheriff’s investigators want to talk to a couple of Oksana Grigorieva‘s lawyers as part of their expanding probe into whether someone close to Mel Gibson’s baby mama attempted to extort money from the Oscar-winning angry man.

At least one of the attorneys had represented ex-girlfriend Grigorieva in her custody mediation with Gibson, L.A. Now reports. That mediation reportedly resulted in a $15-million deal -- ultimately rejected -- that would have required her to destroy all ‘evidence’ related to the breakup.

No suspect has been named in the extortion allegations, but sources told TMZ on Tuesday that Natalie Grigorieva, Oksana’s younger sister, was in possession of the explosive audio tapes of the couple shortly after they were recorded.

‘The interviews should take place in the next couple of weeks,’ L.A. County sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said. Investigators are also reviewing e-mails, text messages and recent interviews with various parties involved, L.A. Now said. In a related development, an Us Magazine source says Oprah Winfrey will get the first sit-down interview with Oksana.

We. Can’t. Wait.
