Confirmed: 'Housewives' Danielle Staub lands new TV gig

She might not be invited to dine with the Manzos, but "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is not the last we've seen of Danielle Staub.

The Ministry has confirmed that the controversial brunett has been tapped to host "Social!," a new reality program for Wealth TV, available only on HDTV.

"Danielle is absolutely on board, we've signed her," executive producer Cary Sandoval said.

The news was originally reported by Hollywood Life.

"I’m replacing Robin Leach basically, of 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,' but with a twist,” she told the website. “There will be more socializing with the rich and famous celebrities, and we’ll show how they give back as well.”

No word on who the subjects of the show will be, but Staub is a lock. We can't wait to hear your thoughts on this in the comments section below. Seriously.

Real Housewives is a vehicle for a very narrow brand of trash TV. The fact that sit launches anything passing for a continued career says even more about the degradation of the entertainment media.

Although I am impressed that she managed to not even manage a lateral move. Comcast doesn't even offer Wealth TV in my market, keeping Danielle right where she belongs... "Out of sight, out of mind"

I won't be watching. I swore last year that if she was invited back to RHONJ, I wouldn't watch it. I'm so glad she's gone. Now if they can just get Dina back, that show might be fun to watch again. I hope Danielle's girls are in a healthier place very soon. They seem like genuinely good kids in a horrid situation. Danielle draws troubles like a magnet, and she's dangerous to be around.

WOW!!! this should be interesting, but I hope you don't portray her as the problematic person she was, on Housewifes.That gets old, in seeing the same old, make believe,junk on the tube.It would be nice to view an intellegent Danielle who carries herself like a lady with brains!!! and not all the unnecessary drama. We can view tha on Daytime Soaps!!!Danielle needs to place a shocker on the world with a new look and image. People like to be surprise on new media development, and not the same character. You cant be serious has anyone at her new station watch the RHONJ Danielle is truly scary and paranoid. She stalked the cast on TV and the world watched. She needs to get help which I believe should include a cocktail of the right prescriptions and leave the innocent people alone. I do get this channel but now that I just read this it will never be on in my home

Good for her, I wish Danielle only the best, just wish I had HDTV. Needless to say I won't be watching RHNJ since Danielle is no longer on it. They will more than likely only have this one season left, since they all are so self absorbed, and so unforgiving.
