Proud papa: Rod Stewart rocks the dad look, again
Someone certainly wanted Rod Stewart's body and thought he was sexy. The rocker/sex symbol/father of model-actress Kimberly Stewart is expecting a new baby with his wife, model-photographer Penny Lancaster.
That brings to seven the total number of potential college tuitions for Stewart, who had five children from previous relationships as well as son Alastair with Lancaster, People tallies. (Although Wikipedia counts it as eight -- first daughter Sarah was given up for adoption).
"We were thrilled and delighted to be able to tell Alastair that he was going to be the big brother to a little baby, expected just before Mummy's 40th birthday," the couple said in a statement.
The baby is due just weeks after rocker Stewart celebrates his 66th birthday, points out Sky News Online, which means he'll be a few years older than fellow British rocker Paul McCartney was when his last child, daughter Beatrice, was born.
What do you think of this latest addition to Hollywood's baby boom? Sound off in the comments.

Younger wives almost always want children. So with an age difference 25 or so years, Rod gets more children. Love my children, who are in their 30s, and can't imagine babies in my life now...too much drama unless they are grandchildren.

This is ridiculous, although not all that uncommon in show business, but still ridiculous. He's 66...that means that he just might not be around for this child's high school graduation. And hell, he and the current wife may not even still be married in ten years. Stewart will have found himself yet another 30YO dish and she'll get pregnant with Stewart's eighth bundle. Sheesh...

My hat is off to you. Congrats. I think it is wonderful that you are bringing new life into the world. There is no greater gift than love....and the best of love brings forth children. I see happiness, joy, true love, respect, and the love & miracle of God at work here....you are very fortunate. God bless.

Congradulations on the new baby Rod! How many kids someone has is a private matter. Rod always takes care of his children and is a wonderful Dad. It's not like he's on welfare or asking anyone's help or opinion on the matter. He has the right to have as many kids as he wants. And Rod is a great athelete and always keeps himself in great shape. He's not like most 66 yr old men. He could probably out last most 30 year olds. So let him be people. He could live to be 100 and still be around to rock Aiden's kids on his knee. :)
