'The Expendables' premiere puts some Stallone-style action back in Hollywood [Updated]
With an uncredited cameo appearance in "The Expendables," Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger skipped the red carpet but did attend the Tuesday premiere of the film, which might be 2010's big end-of-summer hit, according to the Big Picture's Patrick Goldstein.
"It sounds
as if men everywhere are having what you might call mangasms over the
film," Goldstein said recently. And really, what's not to love, with action stars of a certain age -- think Sylvester Stallone, Steve Austin, Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham and Terry Crews -- showing up to tangle on the big screen, and mingle on the red carpet outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Also among those on hand for the premiere: Ling Bai; Mickey Rourke with girlfriend Anastasia Makarenko; Rumer Willis with her dad Bruce Willis; Jennifer Flavin with hubby Sly and their three daughters; Christa Campbell; Eric Roberts; and Charisma Carpenter, of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" fame.
Also spotted: actor Jon Huertas, the ubiquitous Kellan Lutz -- and members of the SEIU, out to protest the no-show governor's ordering of furloughs until a state budget is signed.

[For the record, 11:40 a.m.: A previous version of this post said Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger did not attend the premiere. Though he didn't walk the red carpet, Schwarzenegger was present. Updated at 10:25 a.m.: A previous version of this post said Willis' role in the film was uncredited; he is in fact credited.]

Hey! I don't know whether he was at the premier, but no mention of Jet Li? He's going to get more of my friends to see the movie than Terry Crews (who? what's he been in? or is that the sole woman's name?) or even Jason Statham.

aronld should start making movies. He is terrible as a governor. He messed up a lot of prorams. I wish there was a way i can speak to him. And jerry brown is a big mess also. Governor brown has no compassion for any thing or anybody.
