Britney Spears confirmed for ‘Glee,’ Ryan Murphy says

Oh baby, baby -- looks as if Britney Spears will be dancing her way to the set of “Glee.”

In a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday, show creator Ryan Murphy said the pop star is a go to appear with his stable of young talent in an episode dedicated solely to her music.

“Britney, I think 100%, is going to be on the episode,” Murphy said.

Murphy went on to say that the female cast members -- Lea Michele, Amber Riley, Dianna Agron and Naya Rivera to name a few -- will conjure Spears’ spirit with the help of some ...

... anesthesia from the dentist’s office, having hallucinogenic “fantasies of how they can be like her.” Murphy also said the episode will focus on her catalog, not her often tumultuous personal life.

This won’t be Brit’s first foray into television, if in fact she swings by McKinley High. Spears enjoyed two highly publicized cameos on fan favorite “How I Met Your Mother.”
