A werewolf in San Diego (and other 'True Blood' sightings from Comic-Con)
The vampires of "True Blood" must be thankful for that San Diego marine layer, as they and other supernatural stars of the HBO hit dodged the sunlight to support their show.
At the Wired Cafe, everyone from engaged Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer to hot new werewolf on the block Joe Manganiello came to recharge between panels and press.
Manganiello, impossibly fit and a fast fan favorite, was just promoted to series regular for Season 4. He celebrated Saturday by hitting Wired's pop-up bar, Merlotte's (a kiosk version of the watering hole in the series).
The wolf was joined by Kristin Bauer, who plays acidic vamp Pam, and Rutina Wesley, the hot-tempered human Tara. Not far was another representative of the undead, James Frain, chatting with Kellan Lutz (same monster, different franchise).
On Friday, Paquin and Moyer rolled through looking quite the happy couple. The pair sipped Patron cocktails and greeted costar Sam Trammell before facing off against each other at ...
... Nintendo's Dragon Quest IX Experience.
