Snooki arrested! 'Jersey Shore' star busted for disorderly conduct

Someone is snookin' for trouble. 

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi of MTV's "Jersey Shore" was arrested in Seaside Heights, N.J., on Friday, with reports citing disorderly conduct as her charge.

While filming for Season 3 of the reality show, Polizzi spent an afternoon on the boardwalk drinking soda from a beer bong, but also was seen doing full-on body shots at a local bar according to TMZ.

Another report says Polizzi had lunch with her father prior to the incident. Perhaps she's making waves to catch the attention of Barack Obama?

The president indicated he didn't know who Snooki was on Thursday while chatting up the women of "The View."

This diminutive hellion is being paid to entertain us by getting sloppy drunk and causing a scene. So cut her a break, she's simply doing her job, and doing it very well I might add!

Enjoy it while you can, I'm sure before long the anti-fun brigade will slap her in some re-hab concentration camp where she'll sober up and become just another boring celebrity.

From what I've read this was a publicity stunt orchestrated by MTV.

This Snookie person should be ashamed of herself and deeply embarrassed to have what purports to be a picture her drunk self getting arrested plastered all over the internet. Anything for fame and money I guess. Throw them all in jail.

In 2004, prior to Jersey Shore, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was criminally charged for selling alcohol to minors at a party at her house, after underaged party guest Michael Truncali was killed in a drunk driving accident right after the party. The outcome of the charge was sealed as Polizzi was a minor at the time.
